Dear Editor,

Sea Shepherd achieves two main outcomes. It protects whales, including some 900 whales which are swimming in the Southern Ocean right now without harpoons in their backs because our courageous crews intervened on this summer’s whaling. It also allows inactive critics to tut-tut about us being ‘pirates’  (eg. The Age editorial 28.2.13).
