NVDA TRAINING

This spring we have a series of events to resist the ongoing destruction of forests in Lutruwita/Tasmania.

We’re kicking this off with two info sessions to help you prepare for taking action in defence of native forests, where you’ll hear from forest campaigners about the current threats to the forests of Lutruwita.

For those new to taking direct action, we’ll also kick off the weekend with a Non Violent Direct Action (NVDA) Training session, to help you learn all you need to know to join us on the frontline.

This will lead into our two days of forest events: a guided walk in a threatened native forest that is planned to be logged, followed by a Mass Mobilisation for the Forests. We will be rallying in great numbers in the forests that are being logged right now in Lutruwita/Tasmania , a peaceful event to occupy the forests and protect them against logging.

Spring into Forest Action starts with two info sessions to help you prepare for taking action in defence of native forests.

Hear from forest campaigners about the current threats to the forests of Lutruwita and how you can help and be involved.

In preparation for the Mass Mobilisation, come along for a half-day introduction to taking Action for Earth and learn all you need to know to join us on the frontline.

This is a great way to meet like-minded people and connect with experienced activist trainers.

Come for a guided walk in a native forest that is planned to be logged in the coming months.

Come to connect with this place of great natural values, and to hear from the BBF campaigners about how you can be involved.

We are rallying in great numbers to peacefully defend a native forest that is being logged. We will use our great numbers to defend this forest by occupying it and preventing more damage to be done
