Bob Brown Foundation is seeking a Lobbyist to ensure our direct action campaigns to end native forest logging and protect Tasmania’s takayna are placed front and centre on the agenda for all federal politicians and business leaders.

This role will be an essential component in our campaigns, acting as a critical counterpoint to the relentless lobbying of our politicians from powerful corporate logging and mining interests.  Our direct action campaigns are attracting huge public support which urgently needs to be converted into political action – our new Canberra Lobbyist will play this crucial role.

We are seeking an assured and direct communicator to who can confidently present these issues to politicians from all parties and political groupings in Canberra and their electorates across Australia.

This is a full time position, ideally based in Canberra, lobbying all federal MPs in the federal parliament, along with business leaders.  Australia-wide travel to the electorates and other cities and regions will be a regular part of this role.

Salary will start from $96,962 depending on skills and experience.
