Prime Minister hurries past forest campaigners

This morning in Hobart, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese refused to stop and talk with Bob Brown Foundation forest defenders.

“We confronted the Prime Minister this morning, chanting ‘end native forest logging.’ Calling on the Prime Minister to get serious about protecting native forests nationwide, all he had to say was ‘have a nice day’,” Jenny Weber said.

Bob Brown Foundation is urging Australia’s Prime Minister Albanese for immediate, secure protection of all native forests. Protecting native forests will save endangered species from extinction and is real climate action. Albanese can and must end native forest logging nationwide, today he heard that loud and clear.
