Huon pine (Lagarostrobos franklinii) is a slow growing, paleoendemic conifer found only in Tasmania. It is confined to high rainfall areas in the west and far south of the state, predominantly along rivers and in rainforest. This beautiful book features photographs and survey information about takayna and these magnificent trees. A must have for anyone who wishes to help to preserve our remaining wilderness.
